Corruption In Pakistan: Due to the economic crisis in Pakistan, the economy is getting ruined. His rupee is falling every day in comparison to the dollar. At the same time, the common man is hungry for food. Pakistani rulers are demanding an economic package from big countries. Many people are not able to understand the reason for the deteriorating condition of Pakistan. In such a situation, this reason can be understood from the report of Transparency International.

Pakistan is ahead in corruption, that’s why the plight is more

Transparency International’s report includes 10 countries that have come at the bottom of the Corruption Perception Index (CPI). In this report, Pakistan has got the lowest ranking in the ranking of the year 2022. Earlier such poor ranking was found in 2012. According to the report, Pakistan is still one of the most corrupt nations in the world, which has failed to improve on the Corruption Perception Index.

This ranking of Pakistan is continuously deteriorating

The Corruption Perceptions Index is released every year by Transparency International. This index is prepared by the organization after assessing the levels of corruption in the public sector. According to this report, the condition of Pakistan is very bad. It got a ranking of 117 out of 180 in 2018, which kept falling further in the last years. In 2021, Pakistan came in 140th place. After that in the year 2022 also Pakistan was given the same ranking.

India’s condition is much better than Pakistan

If Pakistan is compared to India in this matter, then we are much better than that. India and Bangladesh have got 85th and 147th ranking respectively in the Corruption Perception Index (CPI). In the latest report of Transparency International, Pakistan’s CPI score has come down to 27 points, whereas before that it was 28. With this, Pakistan has come in the list of countries where corruption is increasing.
